Shipping Costs
Shipping within the United States is calculated based on the total purchase price of an order. A flat rate of $ 5.95 is charged on orders up to $ 75.00. Orders over $ 75.00 are shipped at the expense of Sage Yarn. Shipping methods vary according to the volume of individual items and/or aggregate orders for a given day. Standard shipping is USPS Priority or UPS Ground, and is generally received within 3 – 5 days. Shipping Policies
All orders are processed within 24 hours of receipt. Processing includes verifying item availability, quantities, payment entry, packaging, and shipping. Multiple item orders and out of stock orders may be subject to partial shipment. If we are unable to fill a complete order, we will contact you for approval of a partial shipment. Partial shipments are subject only to those shipping charges for the in-stock items. Shipping charges for the remaining items will be paid by Sage Yarn.
Out of Stock Items
If we are unable to fill a complete order, we will contact you for approval of a partial shipment. Generally, items that are out of stock should be received by us within 7 to 30 days. We will contact you if we believe an item will take longer than 30 days to arrive, or if 30 days has elapsed and we have not yet received the item. Supplier shipping times and availability varies widely. Orders for out of stock items not subject to the provisions of Special Orders will be considered backorders and may be cancelled by you at any time prior to order processing. Hand dyed yarns and locally produced items are subject to limited production runs and may therefore delay shipping.
Payment Methods
To process your order online, you may use your MasterCard or Visa credit card. All information obtained via the internet is secured by Authorize.net. If you prefer, you may call (508-457-9513) and we will process your order and payment method via telephone.
Special Orders
All special orders must be pre-paid and are non-cancellable and non-returnable.
Large quantity orders or orders for items not usually stocked (e.g. a color of yarn) will be considered a special order. Special orders for items not customarily stocked may be placed by making a request via our e-mail contact form at info@sageyarn.com, or by calling 508-457-9513. Large quantity orders shall be determined by us upon receipt of an order and you will be contacted prior to our processing such an order.
Inventory
We are a brick and mortar shop with an online presence. Our inventory management consists of a Point of Sale system for tracking physical inventory through sales, etc. Unfortunately, this system is not currently tied to our online inventory and is manually entered each morning. While not anticipated, there may be simultaneous purchases of the same product that will cause an order to be unavailable even if the online inventory quantity reflects a sufficient amount at the time an order is placed. We will contact you if this situation arises, and you may determine whether to place a backorder or to cancel. BE ASSURED, ALL ORDERS AND INSIDE SALES ARE PROCESSED INDEPENDENTLY. YOUR ORDER WILL BE FILLED AS SOON AS WE ARE ABLE TO RETRIEVE IT.
